Fastlane Day 1

Fastlane Day 1 on 19.11.2017

After arriving from Munich with Iberia the previous day, we make our way to the starting point of the first stage. From our vacation home in Los Llanos, we drive to the trailhead to Pico de La Nieve.

The trail leads through pine forests down towards Santa Cruz de La Palma. There are also frequently wet sections that are extremely slippery due to the long pine needles.

The trail offers amazing views. You literally immerse yourself in the nature of the island.

Further down, we feel like we're in the jungle. Beautiful landscapes inspire us.

After about 11 km, 2100 meters of descent, and 300 meters of uphill, the trail spits us out in Santa Cruz de La Palma. We took this section again on the same day. So we had a total of 22 km of trail with about 4200 meters of descent and 600 meters of uphill.
