Sauvelade
With only 30 degrees, it won't be as hot as announced for the 34 km. It will be a long day, but I dawdle and have a lot to see along the way.
The pot-bellied pig can sleep while I have breakfast with Andrew.
Wonderful views open up again before I reach Sauvelade.
The old Romanesque church has a Byzantine floor plan.

Miracle, miracle - in the next café, my Canadian friends are sitting, who simply took a taxi for part of the way.
That was a wonderful reunion after a week. I now know why I got along with Bert so well right away: he ran the Victoria Half Marathon in Canada for his 70th birthday!
After a nice rest area, I reach Narravex, which is compared to Lucca - never.

After the city tour, I have to say goodbye to my friends again, and off I go:
A farmer on a tractor stops and wants to show me the right way, even though I just chose a shortcut.
We get talking, he accompanies me, and in return, I am supposed to take a prayer for Alain to Santiago.
I am already expected at my hostel around 5:30 pm. I had no idea that I would end up on an eco farm. No alcohol, no smoking, no meat, who knows what else.
Dry toilet only on the outside, it was a new experience.
I have no choice but to smuggle in some drinks.
That wasn't me!
