With our tent set up, clothes freshly washed (unbelievable, isn't it?), and a full tank, we left Germany this morning and crossed the Danish border to Copenhagen. The crossing was partially horrible due to the crowded roads and pouring rain. We could barely see out of the windows at times, and while Leon was sleeping, I was able to spot the toll sign at the last moment. 33 euros lighter, we arrived at our accommodation for the next two nights: two rooms, kitchen, bathroom in Michal's shared apartment, 20 minutes away from the city center. Note the efficient use of space in the 1m² bathroom, in contrast to the spacious living and sleeping room with high ceilings, wooden floors, two sofas, and large windows. According to Michal, this is a typical Danish prioritization. The rain kept us indoors for the evening in our dry and warm temporary home with Wi-Fi, kitchen, and running water. After a main course of canned noodles and a dessert of gummy bears, we carefully prepared for tomorrow and ended the evening comfortably with a movie.
