After visiting the Glacier, we camp at Wilcox Pass, we are nearly 2000 meters above sea level and do like the Canadians diligently make a campfire. We grill our chicken and warm up with cinnamon apples. In the morning when we wake up, we have reached our lowest temperature of 3° degrees. We are all wearing 4 layers and if it gets colder, we will probably put our shorts on top, Kiwi style. Where is summer!
Felix asks a lot why the glacier is so small now and we start explaining and now he is heavily scolded when he sees moving cars or when Dad turns on the flashlight too early and so on. We think he quickly understood what it's all about.
We meet a camper with German plates and another one with Austrian plates, they started on the east coast in Halifax and are driving to Alaska and then south to Panama. We wish them a good trip without any breakdowns.
