Sonnenschein and broken knees

Thankfully, it didn't rain and we were able to start today in bright sunshine. Our host in Erpel was very caring and we felt well taken care of! Unfortunately, our knees are causing us some worries at the moment as we can't climb stairs without pain. That's why we decided to only walk a short stage tomorrow (until Koblenz) and then take the Flixbus to Wiesbaden from there.

Today we went from beautiful Erpel to Neuwied. Erpel is a village with a population of 2500, known for its beautiful half-timbered houses. The path to Neuwied follows along the Rhine and is worth a hike!
