We left Normandy behind. In Cancale, we stretched our legs a bit and ended up at the small oyster market. What we didn't know before was that Cancale is one of the most important oyster farming areas in Brittany. At low tide, we could see the oyster beds. We strolled around with mixed feelings among the approximately 10 oyster stands. They all offered the same thing: 12 pre-cracked flat and curly oysters with half a lemon. There was only 1 stand with wine. I would have found a reversed ratio more exciting. Anyway... Micha spoke to a German family about how oysters taste and got to try one... boring, but if oysters, then here! And so we ate oysters for the first (and probably last) time, took a walk, and continued... Stop here, stop there... and anchored in the evening on the sandy beach of Saint Lunaire. The rain sent us to bed early in the evening. But in the morning, we were greeted by Brittany in a mystical attire... beautiful. We got a delicious coffee on the beach, walked through the dreamy streets in search of a bakery, and ended up having a picnic on the beach again. After a swim in the finally crystal clear saltwater, we continued to the Pink Granite Coast.
