Hello everyone,
The final days in Tampere are numbered and thus the final sprint begins here.
There isn't much to report this week as the university also wanted to keep us busy. So we spent most of the time at home, working on our stuff.
For 2 hours, we simply enjoyed the beautiful Finnish nature and went to a lake. It's already frozen. Overall, the weather is not really as expected: we still don't have any snow! It's constantly cold and frosty, but unfortunately there is still no real winter landscape.
We used the first Advent weekend to visit the Christmas market in Helsinki. There was a big market right in front of the white church at the main square. Of course, we drank 'glögi' and ate a reindeer sausage. The highlight was that even at the Christmas market, Finns have a sauna ;)
The time when it's light outside is also relatively short. From my own experience, I can't really say when it gets light :) but it gets dark around 3:45 pm.
Other than that, everything is going well here and I'm looking forward to seeing you all soon!
Best regards from Finland,
Carina
