Stavanger

Today just briefly, because I'm completely exhausted. We took a 9-hour trip to Stavanger today.

With scooter and bus into the city, then 4 hours in the Petroleum Museum. That was really interesting, especially since Ingo works in the industry and could explain a lot to me about the individual exhibits. Finally, I know what my husband does all day 🤣. Overall, a lot of input, plus everything in English, my head was buzzing afterwards.

Nevertheless, I still wanted to see something of the city afterwards. We had great weather ☀️ There was a huge cruise ship in the harbor, the MSC Fantasia, which seemed completely out of place next to the small old town houses.

"Gamle Stavanger" (the white wooden houses) and the colorful street "Øvre Holmegate" are quite nice to look at, but these inclines in the city are a real challenge! Our scooters were overwhelmed at some point due to the cobblestones, the steep ascent, and the many people - and I had been overwhelmed for a long time!

After a delicious pizza, we took the regular bus back to the motorhome.

Tomorrow we have booked a fjord tour with the excursion ship. I'm excited!
