Travemünde

Some time has passed since the last visit to Travemünde.

In September we had 28° on the beach - now on the second Advent it's only 4°; It is drizzling and the last remnants of snow are disappearing.

There is no classic Christmas market here. But there are lots of stalls set up at the terminal with beautiful things. There are a few culinary stalls set up behind it with various delicacies, including sandorn punch with and without alcohol. Very tasty – at least the one without alcohol.

Now hurry to the beach; because of the chicken gods or thunderbolts. Neither can be found and there is far too much seaweed lying around. Something red catches your eye underneath. Unaware of how the viewer is, she thinks they are pieces of fishing net. But no! The love of my life knows her way around the beach: it's actually seaweed or whatever the family they come from is called.

The rain increases and we stroll back to the aja hotel. That was our last visit to Travemünde. But we will definitely come back - and not just because of the family. It's just beautiful here.
