Last day in Australia

Hey friends,

yesterday our day started with the ringing of the alarm clock at 8 o'clock. Since it was very windy and raining lightly, we decided to go to McDonald's for breakfast.

Afterwards, we said goodbye to Tim and Ann-Estelle for now. Mareike and I had to return our beloved Bobby and clean him again. 🥺 In the meantime, Tim and Ann-Estelle went to their accommodation, emptied their car, and freshened up. After we dropped off Bobby, Tim and Ann-Estelle picked us up and we spent the day together. Since my phone couldn't charge anymore due to moisture in my charging port from the rain, we went to a phone doctor who, like the Samsung store, couldn't help us. So I decided to buy a contactless charging station and can now charge my phone, lucky me. 🙂

Then we went to an outlet center, but we didn't find anything there, which might not be bad because our backpacks are getting full. 😅

In the evening, Tim and Ann-Estelle drove us to our Airbnb, because it's not far from their accommodation. We chose one near the airport to make the Uber ride not too long and especially not too expensive.

Once we arrived at the Airbnb, the four of us said goodbye after a week of traveling together.
Then Mareike and I took our luggage to the room and went straight to a restaurant for dinner, to end the trip to Australia.

Back at the Airbnb, we finally enjoyed a shower after 5 days and packed our backpacks for the flight, and then went to sleep.
