Finally sun, finally blue sky, finally warm :) that's what I thought when I arrived in Hoi An - after about 17 hours of bus ride, I fought my way through the motorbike taxis waiting in front of the bus and walked one and a half kilometers to the hostel. With the heavy backpack behind me and the small backpack in front of me and my offline map showing me the way and then the hot sun that I wasn't used to anymore, it was quite long and exhausting. After a shower and lunch, I set off on foot to find the beautiful old town. After almost 3 km on foot, however, I realized that I was quite exhausted, and since I couldn't find the old town, but rather lively streets, I decided to get a massage and then take a taxi back to the hostel. The next day, I rented a bicycle and enjoyed the sun at the beach. The beach directly in the city was not the most beautiful, because there were many sandbags in the water to prevent the waves, but I still found a small beautiful beach area with palm trees for sunbathing. Later, I found the old town, full of small shops, restaurants, cafes, and also the river... it was quite exhausting because there was a lot going on here - very popular with tourists... nevertheless, I liked it there. Lanterns in all possible colors hung everywhere in the streets. You could eat and drink deliciously. And shop. Then I bought a dress, which was a bit too big, but I was able to find a store that sewed it tighter for me quickly. Many shops here sell tailor-made dresses and suits. However, the prices are slightly higher than in the north. For manicure and pedicure, for example, I paid a total of 400,000 dong, about 15€, for the massage as well.
