Day 36. An unexpected boat trip

Hello everyone,

This morning after waking up, I am enjoying the beautiful view with a walk around the cliffs with Nala.

As our smartphone notifies us that the weather is not going to improve next week, we decide to take the ferry from the south of the Lofoten Islands to the mainland. But first, we pass by the ferry and arrive in the city with the shortest name. For anyone having trouble remembering the name of their city.......here's our suggestion:

Welcome to 'Ä'!

There, we have a homemade fish burger for lunch.

After our lunch, we head towards the ferry ⛴. We line up and wait until we can board the ship. Now we have about 4 hours of ferry ride ahead of us. Tascha is slowly becoming a real sailor. Beautiful panoramas appear on the crossing.

When we finally have solid ground under our feet again, both children are asleep. We still have a few kilometers to drive before we reach our next parking space. On the way there, we spot a few elks at the roadside.

After this long day, we are now happy to go to bed!
