Working like a Kiwi for the Kiwi

After the weather was still not perfect and we had to wait for the sticker on the windshield, we decided to work.

After finding a job offer at a small vegetable store in the middle of nowhere, we immediately called the number and could meet with Manni a few hours later.

Who would be our boss for the next few weeks...

Since Manni was still looking for more people, we told Marius who showed up the next day with Dennis and Freja, who also wanted to work. So on Tuesday (after Labor Day) we were 5 people at the plantation parking lot and we were all very excited about what awaited us.

When Manni and some other workers arrived, contracts were signed, rows were assigned, and we received a brief introduction. We were supposed to remove certain kiwi blossoms (sometimes the kiwi has 3 blossoms and you have to remove two of them so that the other one grows better).

Easy work, but physically demanding, the posture is not comfortable ... but Manni said that after a few days there would be no more problems. Let's see if he's right.
