Opito Bay 5.11.16

On Saturday morning we went to the local market and met Jana, Pat's girlfriend, there. Since they make the best cake in Kerikeri, we bought a slice of cake from them and drove to Opito Bay. After a short walk, we reached the almost empty bay and sunbathed on the beach. In the late afternoon, we hiked to the nearby lookout point and enjoyed the view over the Bay of Islands. Then we went back to the Hideway Lodge and ended the evening with the others at the hostel playing billiards, darts, and Ring of Fire.
