36. Kobuleti (Georgia)

So, the next morning we continue, along the Black Sea coast, towards Georgia!

And then: Gamarjoba beautiful Georgia! As at the Georgian border only the driver remains in the car (passengers have to pass the border inside the building) and in Georgia mainly men drive cars, it was once again a small spectacle when Katha as a woman crossed the border alone!

In order not to stay in Batumi for a third night, we drive a few kilometers further to Kobuleti.

Kobuleti is a slightly outdated beach resort that seems to have seen better times. An enchanted place, with interesting and partially decayed buildings on the beach. Georgians prefer to go bathing in the 30 kilometers away Batumi, as it is more modern and touristy.

We are particularly looking forward to our favorite Georgian food...
