It happened - we actually left the country after a year of waiting! The little marten footprints on the hood and the terrible predictions of the car mechanic in our ears, we are happy to have made it to Croatia with our car without a workshop/junkyard visit. The effects of the pandemic also gave us a free highway and therefore a relaxed ride! Contrary to the assumptions of our friends, there was no snow (Bad Weather Johnny) waiting for us upon arrival.

In the small town of Umag, we chill on the rooftop terrace, drink our first Aperols by the sea, and Ronny eats his first Poseidon platter (aka Gerhard Polt in 'Man spricht deutsch')!
