After 30 hours, I finally arrived at Khan's (my driver) hometown and met his family. The village is in no way comparable to a village here. Because the village was in the middle of nowhere. Only then did I realize that I would be living like 150 years ago, with the exceptions that there is electricity, a fairly simple washing machine, and an English toilet, but without flushing 😅
By the way, cooking was mostly done with fire, not electricity or gas. And showering from a bucket.
There wasn't much to see there, it was more about the overall package. The air was fresh and the locals respected me, not because I looked prosperous to them, but because that's the culture in rural areas. I went on 1-2 hikes with the oldest son (18) and Khan showed me the surroundings by car.
On Day 29, we set off early because we had a 12-14 hour car ride to the airport.
