Brazilian influences

10/2: Monday

We've had enough of Brazilian music for now. Unfortunately, and I really have to say UNFORTUNATELY, the last two days there was a Brazilian festival in and around the campsite and true to Brazilian culture the celebration lasted until late into the night. To be precise, music was still playing at 4am. I'm very sensitive to the sounds of falling asleep and all other sleeping conditions and it probably didn't bother most campers that much, but I actually had to plug in the Airpods to be able to fall asleep.

It didn't bother Michel, which is crucial. Last night was also the best in months, I would say. He slept deeply and only came to eat twice. Since we both sleep in the top bunk, my sleep quality has also improved by 300%. We both have more space, I don't have to worry about it rolling off the bench and the mattress is soooo much better. Sven claims he sleeps well downstairs and I actually believe him. The fact that he doesn't find a tired and annoyed girlfriend in the morning will probably make him sleep more calmly and relaxed. My poor husband, he doesn't always have it easy with me.

He's currently out for a run, Michel is sleeping strapped to my stomach and I'm waiting for breakfast. We've been awake for a few hours and I'm still very hungry in the mornings since I've been breastfeeding.

We wanted to go to the beach a little later today because we had an appointment with Nils and Gabi in the afternoon. The two spent their honeymoon here and are leaving home today.

The wedding in mid-September would definitely be worth a diary entry, but since we traveled by German train, it doesn't really fit on this blog.

But I have just decided that I definitely have to find a few words about these beautiful days in Leipzig and besides, it was a short trip.
