Unternehmungen am See Atitlan (Guatemala)

There are many Maya villages around Lake Atitlán, so you also have the opportunity to learn about their culture. We participated in a Maya Cacao & Fire Ceremony, where we learned about the sacred cacao and the Maya calendar.

In addition to the cultural offerings, there are also many dance and yoga events on wooden platforms with beautiful scenery.

One of the most colorful villages on the lake is San Juan, which we visited during a day trip. The residents have decorated many streets with artistic images.
