It's been a long time... The last trip... It's been 4 months since I was at an airport... To be exact...
📅
'back then' I came back from my Southeast Asia trip...
🌴🌊 🐠
This time it stayed in Europe...
But Milan is supposed to be beautiful too... So about 2 months ago, we booked the flights there in a drunken state... Haha, do you remember?

The anticipation was great... And two days ago it finally started...🎉 ☀️😎
We were all so tired actually... And I was still completely out of it because of that stupid sleeping pill :D
Fortunately, we sat together after all. Even though we all feared and booked something else... 😙
Girls, the flight flew by for me (haha) and for my part I found it really cool to feel the Italian sun on my neck when we arrived in Milan...
CiAOOO
Then we took the bus to the city center and from there directly to the accommodation's office to get rid of our bags for a bit and relieve our aching shoulders.
🚍
Then off to the hustle and bustle.
💥
What can I say. You were there..
I'll let the pictures speak from now on... I'm realizing it's difficult and simply DIFFERENT to write a blog post exclusively for the people who were there with us.
FROM us. FOR us. So to speak. :)
I found it funny to see you outside of your natural habitat, to observe you and hang out with you.
I loved subjecting myself to a short brainwash by Scientology with you.
I enjoyed 'chasing' you with growling stomachs through the city, through 5 sneaker stores until I finally had my carbonara. 🍝
I found it interesting to explore Milan's public transportation with you.
I found it relaxing, after all the walking through the city in what felt like 40 degrees, to finally give my swollen feet a short break and put my old dogs in the cool fountain.
Yes, there was no coastline, no stream, no lake, no river in sight... However, the fountain compensated us, right? 😉
⛲
Also, Andrea was able to fully devote herself to observing the African bracelet mafia...
😁
1 night later (in a really nice accommodation, if you ask me... *pat on the back for myself*)
it finally happened... My birthday.. And the event that was the 'reason' for us being in Italy...
🎁 June 14th (a Queen was born) 👑
The morning was beautiful.
It was warm, we were all in a good mood, the (expensive) strawberry cake was delicious, and the whole day lay ahead of us. 😍
We went to the famous canal, which was a bit outside, and had a really nice time there.
Ok. Boat riding unfortunately fell through, but now I have a new tattoo and know that not all Greeks can conjure up good food. 😂
The hour at our favorite fountain was also beautiful.
And the original Italian ice cream was absolutely delicious. 😋
Otherwise, I have to say that my birthday went by really quickly.
My conclusion about Milan is, hmm... . I didn't expect anything and that's why I could only win.
I found it beautiful.
A bit of Rome, a bit of Barcelona, a bit of Lisbon were also included. :)
The people were nice and the architecture was really great.
I don't necessarily have to go again, but I'm still glad to be able to cross something off my to-see list. ✅
Jule, you've been with me in various countries and continents many times now, and even though I know it's often tiring for you, you always come along anyway. 😁
Peggy and Andrea,
You move forward at about the speed of a sloth and argue with each other, only to embrace each other intimately for Facebook photos in the next moment, but witnessing your interaction is really amusing.
Your various parodies, Andrea, are a hit and you could really perform with them.
I swear, I would sit in the front row.
Thank you for being there, all 3 of you, and making my birthday so sweet.
The time at the airport was long and a bit nerve-wracking at the end.
But as the Japanese say:
Safety First.
And I say 'GRAZIE' again and say goodbye for now.
Ciao Milan.
Ciao Berlin.
