21.02.2023 - Day at sea on the way from Wewak to Makassar

Today is the fourth and tentative last day at sea. When we took our morning walk on the deck, the sun was already shining. The sea was calm, no waves at all.

But when we sat down for breakfast, suddenly a rainstorm came and the ship swayed noticeably. But after 10 minutes, the spectacle was already over - as if nothing had happened.

We spent the day with various activities on board. Since today is Fat Tuesday, there was carnival by the pool. However, the guests were quite sluggish, so it was up to the entertainment team alone to entertain the people. Nevertheless, the mood was good, mainly due to the music.

We skipped lunch today because we are going to a specialty restaurant (Silver Note) this evening. But in the afternoon, we felt like having a glass of champagne in our suite. We called our butler and asked for two glasses of champagne. However, he came with a whole bottle of Heidsieck Monopole Blue. We couldn't keep the opened bottle, so we emptied it.

In the early evening, the onboard singers put on a great show - musical melodies.

Yes, one day passes after another - too quickly. Tomorrow morning we will be in Makassar and hopefully have an interesting excursion.
