Machu Picchu

If you travel Peru, or South America, it's sort of given that you HAVE to do Machu Picchu... well, I can confirm. Located in the Andes near Cuzco at about 2430 m of altitude, this Inka city approximately built in the 15th century is truly an amazing sight and fun to walk through. 

I took the train to Aguas Callientes, got on the bus to Machu Picchu in the morning and descended in the afternoon by walking down back to Aguas Callientes. I was apparently quite lucky with the weather, as it had been raining for 4 days in a row and started to do so right when I left. Phew 🙏
