Resümee !!!

This is now our temporary last post here on the blog.

After some chaos in Bali because the volcano Mount Agung threatened to erupt, we managed to leave the island safely.

The return journey went smoothly, except that we had to run one last time in Qatar during the transfer and the craving for the Hackepetersemmel had to be satisfied temporarily at the train station in Leipzig...

Now we have been back in Germany for two weeks and getting used to it is really difficult.

Our travel fever is still very high.

When asked where it was most beautiful, we have no answer. Because everything had its charm. The favela in Rio, from which now very bad news is heard about the street fights between residents and police. Even that had its charm and at the time we felt well there

We could mostly only gather positive experiences and were lucky to get to know many different people, cultures and cuisines.

But there are two negative things to mention as well. On the one hand, our credit cards were copied and on the other hand, Rico's corn beer in Peru 😊

After:

61610 km by plane,

4772 km by long-distance bus,

8795 km by rental car and

460.82 km on foot,

our last stop is now Bautzen, at least for the next year.

We would like to thank everyone who has read the blog diligently and overlooked one or the other spelling mistake.

I was very pleased with the positive feedback and writing became more and more fun.
