In the morning, I chat with Bayer about Albania. It's raining outside. I take my laundry to the Lavanderia for a proud €7. (desperately needed)

At 2 pm, the sky clears up and I decide to speed up to Laguna de los Tres, right below Mount Fitz Roy and about 11 km away. A very good decision, as it turns out. There are significantly fewer people at this late hour, no sidewalk buoys to overtake. And right on time for my arrival at the summit lake, the last little clouds also disappear from Fitz Roy's peak. Since almost all my clothes are at the laundromat, I'm the only idiot wearing shorts. Up at the lake, it's actually quite chilly (there's still some snow in places).

Upon returning to the hostel, I'm greeted with authentic French crêpes made by Morgan, a microbiologist from Brittany.

Hugo, the other Frenchman, a social worker from Metz, also makes me fried potatoes. What more could you want? For dinner, I can only contribute strangely alcoholic-tasting truffle chocolate from Chile.
