The dog doesn't want to go out

Good thing we don't have any plans, that would have been a complete disaster. The view from the window tells us it's going to be a 'stay in bed' kind of day. And that's exactly what we're going to do, after a delicious breakfast and nice conversations with a Japanese woman and a Dutch globetrotting couple who works at KLM. So we'll slurp a few cups of coffee, read, write blog posts, play on our phones, watch TV, and shake our heads at the window. What have we done wrong? Who is punishing us with so much rain? And today is another one of those 'even the dog doesn't want to go out' weather.

Eventually, lying down starts to hurt our backs, so we finally gather the energy to go outside. What a shitty idea. We were soaked after 150 meters. New Zealand is not fun like this.

The highlight of this rainy day is dinner with Frank and Marlene. It was a great evening. We had a lot of fun and laughed a lot. If the two of you are reading this, continue to have fun in New Zealand.
