Nicaragua - Managua

Actually, I didn't want to write anything about Managua because we were only here for one night, but now I will :) Managua is the capital of Nicaragua, which sounds promising at first, but unfortunately the city has little to offer, so only a few pictures. This city doesn't have a real center, and when we asked the bus or taxi drivers about the center, they always sent us to the 'Centro', which is a shopping center here. That surely won't be your center, my dear :D When we asked about the 'Centro historico', they looked at us questioningly, like 'What do you want from me?' I believe there is simply nothing like that here, which we noticed when a bus driver waved us in and we just drove around in the middle of nowhere :D No sights or anything. But at least the ride was free ;)

Too bad, but Managua is unfortunately not a must-visit
