The next stop lasted over 2 days and it's worth going further.

From the insignificant little village of Ardara, you go out into the countryside. The houses become fewer and further apart.
It goes through 5 houses, the path narrow, uneven, directly into the bay.

Loughros More Bay.

The path ends at the water, depending on the tide. At the end of the path is a grassy rise, perfectly suitable for the bus.

Miles and miles of no water in sight

We go for a walk

And when we come back, the water has run into the bay for over 2 km

We enjoy the evening hours and look out into the water-filled bay

Out of an adjacent meadow, 5 cows escape and run through the knee-high water to the other side of the bay.

They are unsuccessfully chased by the farmer on his tractor, which simply drives through the water to catch up.

The next morning, we enjoy the upcoming low tide

And later, when the water has completely disappeared, we walk 2 km into the bay towards the Atlantic

We find a dead large seal on the beach

Until finally the water stops us

After returning, we have a proper meal first.

As the tide starts to rise in the late afternoon, we get a little anxious as the tires slowly get washed by the water.

And here's the video I made
