Day of departure - or not!

Jonna wakes up spitting and decides that we will stay a little longer. The day is spent in bed and is accordingly not filled with any highlights.

Although!

When I go to dinner alone in the evening (of course) and want to put on my Birkenstocks beforehand, a cockroach shoots out between the two sandals. With quick thinking and cat-like reflexes, I grab a sandal and can prevent the cockroach from entering our room. However, it is not yet disabled and hides in a crack under a door sill. After a short consideration, I come up with a way to most likely eliminate the beast in its current position. With the precision of a killer, I complete my mission. However, the method is quite unsightly, or too brutal for the 'soft-hearted' readers, which is why I refrain from explaining it in detail - besides, a professional does not reveal his tricks!

I have dinner alone (strange feeling) and return to the room. Already now, a large group of ants takes care of the slain cockroach - you're welcome, guys!

Nothing else really happens. I take advantage of the absence of interesting experiences to introduce you to a roommate with whom we have shared our bathroom for the past few days.

This nameless creature is about 30 cm long, very shy, and lives behind our bathroom tiles. We firmly believe that during our stay, it has killed at least a dozen spiders, cockroaches, and moths that would otherwise be living behind the tiles now. Thank you, gecko!
