We go to the river again before breakfast and wash our hair with the good eco-block shampoo. The water is not very warm, but pleasant enough to be able to wash ourselves. After coffee and scrambled eggs, we continue to a national park with a circular path. We admire the great view and can even imagine where a waterfall could be during the rainy season through a few droplets of water falling. We walk through palm groves and rainforest for about half an hour, and then continue exploring the area.

The rough goal is south, otherwise we let ourselves drift. We drive off at a lake that looks promising on the map and walk along the not really exciting shore for a short time. I take another look around the next corner, but then I am called back by enthusiastic shouts. Just two meters away from us, a koala is starting its ascent to the next eucalyptus tree. We excitedly take photos because the little creature poses in a picturesque way, and a nice woman encourages us to take a group photo with the koala. We accept the offer hesitantly at first, but afterwards we are very pleased to have such a great souvenir picture.

After the top Australia experience, we stop at the next town's Aldi, stock up on food again, and stroll through the small town, which has a few second-hand stores. We have bought everything for a BBQ again and head to the next overnight spot with a grill. Unfortunately, the grill is on the other side of the street, in the nearby park, so we park, grill, and eat first, and then drive to our final spot. Because it is relatively windy, we decide to use the table and benches in the camper today and play a few very cozy rounds in the car.
