So now it is time. The last day of work is coming to an end.

In the last few days we have worked a lot again and spent even more time with Samantha, which has allowed us to get to know him and his wife even better. A real little friendship has developed, which makes saying goodbye even more difficult.

Many photos were taken again today, with the helpers, Samantha and his wife, with patients.

Half of the sweet helpers

After getting ready in the morning and packing Melody's suitcase, we took the TukTuk to the clinic one last time.

Feli likes to do her makeup in natural light

On the way we got a cake - that's tradition after all. Melody said goodbye to everyone at the clinic, including and, because she continued on to Kalpitiya, where her boyfriend was eagerly awaiting her.

Feli and I (Isi) worked until 2 p.m. In between teatime there were cakes and gifts for the helpers, who couldn't contain themselves for joy.

Samantha then invited us to her home for dinner with him and his wife, where we were shown photo albums of former trainees and the Kumaras' family trip to Germany. Feli was finally allowed to get behind the wheel of his car back to the cottage. Once we got there, we relaxed in the pool for the last time.

After a long process, the pool finally has a complete sunshade

The next group of fans had already arrived at the cottage, so we were able to spend a fun evening with lots of stories from the Sakuki, the universities and life before we went to our rooms and started packing.

Tomorrow we're off to the tree house in Sigiriya. Stay tuned, more reports will follow from now on ;)
