With the rental car across the island — Part 1

Normally in Thailand we always rent a scooter to explore the islands. Since we have Kian with us this time and don't want to take him into the middle, we rented a car this time.

And with that we set off across the island to visit various beaches. We like our bay and what else we can see so much that we are sure that Koh Phangan can do much more.

Our first stop was Haad Khom. And the beach can definitely do something. Crystal clear water, sometimes green - sometimes shimmering blue, depending on the position of the sun. And there wasn't that much going on here. We spread our blanket under a big tree and bathed together with Kian for quite a while. Afterwards we lay down to dry and relax.

next we went on. To Chaloklum Beach for lunch. This was a recommendation from Dad; he and Mom have eaten here several times over the past year. There was papaya salad, garlic bread and massaman curry. All very, very good.

Our last stop for the day was Malibu Beach, where we ended the day on the white sand by the crystal clear water. By the way, Kian slept through the night in his car since lunch and only woke up again at the end of the day, just as we were making our way to the car.

We drove up and down through the jungle for about 45 minutes. Do some quick shopping and then off to dinner.

There was Indian again and it was simply fantastic again. For dessert there was mango sticky rice - after all, a bit of Thai is a must 😃😃

Tomorrow we want to visit more beaches and a night market in the afternoon.
