On the second weekend, I set off on an expedition into the jungle with my new friends.

We took an Uber to a coffee farm and then headed into the jungle. The paths were really slippery and steep but it was so cool; I finally got to break in my new hiking shoes.

The waterfall was very impressive, the air was so fresh, and we could hear a lot of birds.

Then we hiked to a smaller waterfall, where we could also go swimming :) it was a magical moment to be in the water, in the middle of the jungle of Costa Rica, and then it started to rain.

Soaking wet, we hiked back and then drove home for 2 hours, but for the moment it was worth it.

In the evening, we cooked tacos together and enjoyed our last night as a big group.

Because on Sunday, 5 out of 11 people left us as they continued their journey to Ecuador and Peru.

The farewell was not easy for me, especially not from Sierra, my wonderful new friend. But we want to stay in touch.

On Sunday, two new girls moved into our accommodation right away. Both are very nice, and the next week will definitely be great!

Best wishes from me,

I miss you all

Paula
