Tour data: 97 km, max. 48.8 km/h, travel time 5:01 hours.

Weather: It was still cloudy but dry when I started. Later it cleared up and became quite sunny. However, there was a strong wind blowing from the east all day, so I always had headwinds. Riding against the wind and uphill is especially exhausting. The electric assist helps, but it also puts a strain on the battery.

I would like to thank my dear hosts from Tannenhof again. They spoiled me a lot.

After a small climb, it went downhill, even very steeply in some places. In the forest, I encountered workers who were setting up a huge crane for a wind turbine. From up close, a wind turbine is truly enormous. There are many of them in the Taunus region, and I encountered them repeatedly. You can see that in the photos as well.

The majority of my route was in nature, and I rarely had to ride on a road. And when I did, it was because I wanted to and it was shorter. This was especially the case near my destination, as the battery only showed a few kilometers left. I didn't want another power outage, especially since I didn't have a fixed destination and still needed to find accommodation.

By chance, I found a wonderful hotel right at the beginning of the town. I was very happy about that because I didn't want to go on a big search.

But after arriving, I still had to do laundry, take a shower, and wash dishes. And as you can tell, writing the daily report is also important to me.
