We were really lazy today. We sat on the pool deck, had a cocktail, and watched people wander around the pool in search of free sun loungers. Unsuccessful.

We spent a lot of time in the cabin/balcony today. Later, we went to the Himmel & Meer Lounge and had something to drink there.

Our room was decorated today with a folded bedcover in the shape of a heart, fitting for Valentine's Day.

We enjoyed the sunset from the balcony today. Before dinner, we stopped by the photo gallery, where I handed in the order form with the pictures we definitely wanted. My husband disappeared in the meantime. The photographer then asked for the boarding pass, as the digital flat rate had not yet been charged to the on-board account. However, he deducted the higher price, as we had already booked in advance and the price was 15€ cheaper. But he canceled it immediately and rebooked it with the correct price. My husband reappeared.

Then it was time for dinner. Since today was Valentine's Day, I had made a reservation for tonight at the Surf & Turf Steakhouse. We were warmly greeted and led to our table. The tables had also been decorated for Valentine's Day. We gave our vouchers to our waitress. She explained to us again what we could choose. As already mentioned, there were only two meat dishes that were not included in the voucher. You could choose two appetizers, a main course, and a dessert. Today, I had another one of the delicious Kir Royal as an aperitif. Otherwise, we ordered wine and a bottle of water for the meal. Drinks had to be paid for separately. We really enjoyed the food. The only downside was the salad with chicken breast. I found anchovies under the meat. And I have a fish phobia. It would have been nice if that had been mentioned in the menu, then I would have chosen something else. After dinner, my husband gave me a special 'dessert'. A little box with a pretty necklace with a heart pendant inside. So that's why he sneaked away. Grins. I was very happy.

Today, there was the farewell show for the guests leaving for La Romana tomorrow, including the raffle of the cruise card for the trip. It was really nice, a considerable part of the crew also came on stage to say goodbye.

It's a sea day today. Time to relax. Today we had a leisurely breakfast at the Atlantic Mediterranean.
