कुएर्नावाच - 6. Tag

Actually, I wanted to visit the Good Friday procession in Taxco today. But after being laughed at by locals because Taxco seems to be a huge chaos with too many people today, I changed my plans. After breakfast in the beautiful park of Hotel Las Mañanitas, I went on an exploration tour in Cuernavaca. I visited the cathedral and its associated Museo de Arte Sacral (a gem!). After that, I went to the Museo Brady. In the former house of the American painter Robert Brady, there is a large collection of various artists to be seen. A wonderfully colorful experience!

Of course, the Jardín Borda with its various fountains was not to be missed.

On the way back to the hotel, it was too hot for me to continue walking around the city, with almost 30 degrees. I also visited the Salto de San Antón, a waterfall in the middle of the city.

In the afternoon, I spent lazy time by the hotel pool, I had to enjoy the great hotel a bit too!

In the evening, a heavy thunderstorm passed over the city - it was impressive to experience how it was pouring buckets here. At least a welcome cooling off!
