A little exhausted from the lack of sleep, we went to the neighboring café for a delicious breakfast. Cairns is known as a starting point for tours to the Great Barrier Reef and a hotspot for fishing. We used the day to arrive and swim a bit.

Unfortunately, swimming in the sea is not possible due to low tide and crocodiles, which is why the city has built an artificial lagoon (pool).

After a short power nap and a walk at the marina, we went to the night market for a snack in the evening.

More or less tired, we made our second attempt to avoid jet lag - unsuccessfully.
