Amed 'Snorkeling and Diving Paradise '

प्रकाशित: 18.09.2019

Yesterday we spent a really peaceful day in Ubud. We spent a long time in and by the pool. In the late afternoon, we treated ourselves to another massage, and in the evening, we went to Ubud Center again as a conclusion.

This morning we had to book our next hotel in Amed. Yesterday we couldn't make up our minds :-). Around noon, we left Ubud and set off for Amed with a private driver. The journey was estimated to be 3 hours. They flew by, as we were fascinated by the rice fields and the landscape in general. There was always something new that suddenly appeared. We also had a small truck with pigs in front of us. It didn't look comfortable for the animals, but it was somehow crazy how they are transported here.

We arrived at our accommodation around 3:00 p.m. We quickly trashed our room :-) and went out. During the trip, Daniela arranged for a dive school. Tomorrow she will go diving (wreck dives) and I will snorkel.

After visiting the dive school, we went into the sea with our snorkeling equipment and took a closer look at our hotel reef. It's not fantastic, but it's okay.

We want to rent a scooter right away. It's relatively easy to ride a scooter here in Amed and in the coastal region. It's just getting used to driving on the left. I'll just stick to a local when making a right turn. It'll be fine :-).

We send you greetings from Amed - Anke & Daniela

Monika: Amed soll einer der schönsten und romantischsten Orte auf Bali sein. Ich bin gespannt ob Ihr das auch so seht.
