Weekend trip to Vermont

This weekend, I got to go to Burlington, Vermont with my host family! On Saturday morning, after breakfast, we took a beautiful boat tour on Lake Champlain. Then we walked around the city where a dog costume contest was taking place. In the evening, we went to a brewery with my host father's brother and his girlfriend, and I got to try my first (hard) cider there. After putting the kids to bed, we watched a TV show together.
The next morning, we went hiking again (already my 6th hike here haha!). It was very cold and we walked through the snow, but we were dressed way too warmly for the activity, so we had to carry our 27 jackets all the way up.
After lunch, we drove back home, but we made a spontaneous stop at the Ben&Jerry's factory on the way back to have ice cream after a tour of the ice cream factory.
I have the best host family!
