While completing customs formalities in the port of Kyryk yesterday, we also met two young motorcyclists from Switzerland. They have already completed what I have planned and are on their way home. They were trying to get their motorcycle onto the ferry to Azerbaijan and fly themselves. An option that I had already considered, but which seemed impracticable to me. I asked them to tell me how it went.

Today began, after far too little sleep, by clarifying whether the hotel had completed the mandatory registration and issuing Adam and me with a certificate of this. Both worked without any problems, so we could then take care of SIM cards. Luckily, the right shop was across the street, so within a very short time we both had a SIM card: unlimited internet and 120 minutes of phone calls for both of us for 6400 Tenge. Then we had breakfast and, for the first time in a long time, drank a real cappuccino and ate a delicious piece of cake 😋. The day ended after a walk on the beach, the beach was not very inviting, with a successful attempt to catch up on some sleep.
