Start in Wuppertal
I have set off for Bolivia. A day and a half journey.
Arriving at Frankfurt Airport, everything went smoothly. Despite the strike yesterday.
While waiting for boarding, I made a nice acquaintance, which made the waiting time pass quickly.
In the plane, we had to wait another 40 minutes before takeoff. First, we drove across the entire runway to the takeoff runway and then waited until we were finally allowed to take off. But no problem, I have enough buffer time in Madrid.
The flight was good. However, the landing was a bit wobbly. It felt like the wind wanted to rock us from right to left.
Arrival in Madrid
Arriving at the airport, I immediately inquired about which gate I need to go to next. Gate S. Easier said than done. I had to change terminals for that. In the basement of the airport, there is a small 'subway' to get to that terminal. It's a bit crazy to take a train to the corresponding terminal at the airport. Upon arrival at Gates S, there was another passport control. After everything is done, I can wait for further information.
It's really becoming real in my head. The first flight is behind me and I understand that tomorrow I will be on another continent. I am very curious about the daily life there. What do the locals eat? What mentality will await me?
