3-day stopover in Singapore

After Bali, I made a stopover in Singapore. I had already booked the flight for a while, especially because in many countries, an onward ticket is required upon entry, which is proof that you will leave the country. I have had to show the onward flight tickets that I had saved on my phone several times before. No one wanted to see it in Bali. Well, in Singapore, I definitely wanted to use the time to plan my onward journey. Since Manu's flight from Bali was in the morning and mine was in the evening, I had plenty of time at the airport to think. Originally, India and Sri Lanka were on my list, but I was getting more and more doubts because at this time of year, it can get up to 50 degrees Celsius in the north and the rainy season has already started in the south. Since traveling to Sri Lanka is currently not recommended at all, I was also unsure about that...three days of research and contemplation with a burning head began. Besides planning, I also visited Singapore, of course. Shopping on Orchard Street, Chinatown, Marina Bay, and the Gardens by the Bay were on my tourist program. While I could afford a hotel in Kuala Lumpur, it was not possible in Singapore. I slept in a simple hostel in an 8-bed room. I spent 18 dollars on a pizza and 9 Singapore dollars for 2 scoops of ice cream. That's about 6€. The light show at the Supertrees was super beautiful. You could sit on a grassy field and watch it. It had a bit of an open-air cinema atmosphere, I thought. My conclusion about Singapore: super modern, expensive, and clean!
