Airlie Beach - Whitsundays

Today's day - at least in the beginning - is not one of our best days! But the end of the day is. ☺️

We leave early as we have to check in on time in Airlie Beach.

Shortly before departure, we realize that my wallet is missing.

Fortunately, we find it again - in the meantime, there is some bad mood - especially from me! That happens when I am stressed .... 🤗

By chance, we learn that we should have checked in a long time ago - we had no information from the organizer about this - and that we can only bring our luggage on board without zippers (allegedly bed bugs prefer to lay their eggs in zippers) so we get extra bags for this and quickly pack it up! 

It's a bit hectic, but we arrive at the boarding area on time! It's somehow exciting as we walk past all the illuminated ships in the dark to our ship and leave in the dark without lights - under a starry sky!

We settle into our cabins.... Mika and I are in one - Daniel is in another with a Chinese and a New Zealander.

Compared to our camper, we have a little more space! I'm just worried that I might fall out of the 60 cm wide bed on top.... 😉 - without a guardrail or something similar.

During dinner, we meet an interesting family from New Zealand and later play Mau - mau with them! (Last Card) very funny and very nice!

We have now anchored! I think in front of the North Molle Island! It's dark - it will be beautiful tomorrow when we wake up and see where we are. I'm really looking forward to it and will report....
