Quite punctual departure from Zurich to Miami. Thanks to business class, this time I couldn't complain about the lack of legroom. But the entertainment system was initially unusable until it really crashed and no longer responded to commands. At some point it shut down and restarted. Lo and behold: Suddenly I could enjoy "Mission Impossible" and then a film with Denzel Washington. In between there was an excellent 3-course meal, complete with tablecloth, porcelain and metal cutlery.
After ten hours we reached Miami. The plane sat on the tarmac for fifteen minutes before it was allowed to dock. Then another hour of waiting for the passport inspection. Stressful! Continue to baggage claim. My large suitcase was already waiting for me, but I couldn't see the Samsonite with its decorative blood-red luggage strap anywhere. At some point I was able to identify him based on his pendant. The luggage strap was gone.
To my great relief, the "Royal Caribbean" team met me at the exit, I was able to talk to fellow travelers for the first time, and a short time later a hotel bus picked us up and drove us through Miami at night. Then I was able to move into my comfortable room on the 25th floor of the “Intercontinental”. Now just rest.
