Back in France, we arrive on the Atlantic coast in the small port town of Saint-Jean-de-Luz. Our campsite is located right on the beach near the small town and we really like it, including the swimming pool. On the evening of our arrival, we explored the northern coastal area with another 100 campsites, a paragliding zone, and several more surf spots. The beautiful French gardens and country houses create a wonderful image in this green and blooming landscape. Finally, the town of Saint-Jean-de-Luz completes our image of a classic French small town. Everywhere, there are baguettes, croissants, and crepes, while countless cafés invite you to linger. However, unlike what we had imagined, the French here are incredibly friendly - even to tourists. Everyone greets everyone, they say thank you for small things, and apologize multiple times if necessary. One time, even a little three-year-old Mademoiselle greeted us on the hiking trail with "Bonjour". It was so sweet and left a lasting impression of the French mentality.
