Unfortunately, today started off on a bad note as I fell ill overnight. Nevertheless, I accompanied a friend's family to their son's graduation exam. The university campus is huge and very modern. It was nice to be warmly welcomed by Miguel's (the student) family. The family consists of six children between the ages of 17 and 26, with whom I get along very well.

In the afternoon, we dropped Mathilde off at a friend's house and once again I was surprised by the living conditions. The friend lived in a private compound that can only be accessed by passing the security guards. This type of housing is quite normal here in Mexico. Almost every house in better areas is secured with high walls and an electric fence.

In the evening, Christina, Mathilde (my host family's daughters), and I went to a shopping mall to go ice skating. It was a lot of fun, although it's unusual to find ice rinks in Mexico.
