I'm driving back to LA from San Diego, stopping at one of the huge beaches along the way - one last sun refuel.
Actually, almost the entire coast between LA and San Diego consists of large beaches, surf shops, and consumer opportunities (restaurants, bars, shopping malls, etc.).
It's slowly time to sort out the things that have been accumulated, especially camping equipment.
I'm selling the tent and camping chair at the hostel, taking some of the things that have proven useful, some will stay here.
The last place is the Korean Friendship Bell, where you can find expansiveness right by the Pacific.
I have to squeeze my pack chaos into my bag in the car and then go to the beach one last time.
As the last meal, I'm going to the steakhouse, an authentic ending.
Afterwards, it's the drive to the airport, returning the rental car, checking in, 12-hour flight...
