First hours in Lima

After the bus luckily stopped exactly at my hotel (the bus stop is simply named after my hotel), I briefly dropped off my suitcase. The staff was very friendly, there is a doorman and everything makes a good impression. I went out at 8 a.m. and it was already warm at that point. I went to the tourist information office and got a little advice, took a lot of flyers with me and also changed some in local currency. Then I walked around and it got really humid. Luckily I had put on my shorts. I then went to the area where, according to the hotel staff, there was a bit more going on. Then I went to the sea and relaxed a bit and walked around. There is also a shopping center right by the sea. What I noticed is that there are an incredible number of street cats and an incredible number who have dogs and walk them. It also feels like every second person jogs there. I also plan to do some exercise on vacation. So I continued through the city.

At the beginning I was worried about safety because everyone said you should be careful. Even a woman who I had lifted her suitcases onto her cart said that I should be careful. That's why I was driving myself a bit crazy, but I think it's just as dangerous here as in Cologne or anywhere else. You can be deducted anywhere. I always use my wits and be prudent, but I don't overdo it and will continue to enjoy my vacation.
