From Zingst to Stralsund

The colors of the day today were gray and green. The sky was gray and the landscape was green. There were also perhaps a few red spots of color from the various brick buildings. We didn't see any sun today, even if it did try occasionally. It was relatively warm, though. We had chosen Stralsund as our destination for the day. It was only about 60 km, but because of the rain forecast for the afternoon, we wanted to reach our destination as early as possible (which we actually managed). This morning we waited until the storm front from the night had passed (incidentally, the same one that had caused the interruption of the German European Championship game in Dortmund yesterday evening). The rain actually stopped a little earlier than expected, so we set off. We first headed south to the mainland and then along the Barther Bodden. Fortunately, we had a lot of tailwind again, so we were in Stralsund by midday.
