Today it was time to say goodbye to the beautiful green island of Ireland. And to ensure that everything goes smoothly this time, we set off for the airport well in advance. We were just over two hours away from our destination. It was our last chance to see the beautiful green expanses of Ireland pass by. And to make up for the missed city tour of Dublin last weekend, the two bus drivers took us on a round trip through the capital of Ireland and we were able to get an impression of the city. Exactly on time, three hours before departure, we stood at the check-in counter and all received our boarding passes without any problems. The Aer Lingus plane took off on time at 4:35 p.m. towards Frankfurt. Now we are back on the bus heading towards Schiller-Gymnasium Heidenheim, where we are expected to arrive in two hours at midnight.
Ten intense, exciting, eventful, but also exhausting days are behind us. We were able to gain many impressions, learn new things, and sing great concerts together. We owe the success of this trip (except for the journey, where everything went wrong) mainly to Sylvia Lohse. You have given us ten unforgettable days with your months of planning and organization, and we can only thank you from the bottom of our hearts! A big thanks also goes to our pianist Alwina Meissner, who accompanied us outstandingly on the piano at every concert and always ensured a good mood. A huge thanks also goes to Daniela Burkart, who always had an open ear for everyone and supported Ms. Lohse in every aspect of the planning! And let's not forget a heartfelt thank you to Thomas Kammel, who performed with us in every concert and brought out the best in us!
Thank you for ten beautiful days!
