Many kilometers and lots of rain

On the west coast, we traveled much faster than before, partly because of the weather and partly because there isn't much to see there. So it didn't rain all the time and there were really great things to see, but after a few days you run out of dry clothes.

On the west coast, for example, there are two glaciers. We looked at one from a viewpoint that took us over 3 hours to hike to. It looked like this:

... pretty gray unfortunately. Luckily, on the way there, we were able to catch a few glimpses of the glacier:


It's quite alarming when you see this sign for the Fox Glacier:


then drive a few more minutes to get to the nearest parking lot and then walk another half hour to get to where the glacier is today.
Experiencing climate change first-hand, so to speak.
